I'm surprised nobody asked for this forum earlier. In any event, it's here...

PS Thanks Sal!
So what are thoughts on the Pricing of the R-Spec? Obviously the MSRP is already released. Also, both Hyundai Circle and ZAG show R-Spec pricing and it is right in line with the discounts on the 3.8 and 4.6 (e.g. ZAG Amex pricing for the R-Spec shows Invoice of 44,368, MSRP of 47,350 and ZAG price of $43,868).
However, do you think that demand will be high enough that they won't sell for this amount?
Cheers,
Newman
the multiple dealers I spoke to about the r-spec wanted to hear nothing but the MSRP on the r-spec even though they were going below invoice on 3.8.

Just picked up a black 2012 r-spec last night. I ended up paying 45,985.00 including dest. I was able to take advantage of the 1500.00 comp. coupon for my a4.
I just got a call from the dealer that one R-spec is available.
The MSRP is $48k due to tire option (+$1400) but the dealer said they are doing a special $5000 off (I don't know what exactly) that brings down to around $43k. I just checked the circle price and it seems dead-even. I would've bought it today in an instant if it wasn't for the color though.
At least I will be able to test drive it sometime this week
I have 300 miles on the car and I love it. I agree with some of the other reviews that the steering vibrates a little to much over bumpy roads, but other than that the car handles really well. I got a lot of praise from my buddy who is a stay put Lexus owner on the craftsmanship of the interior and how well thought out the design was. Timc your review is right on, the car is very solid and quiet. I dont have any issues with the sound system and I agree I dont need to advertise my h.p. thru my exhaust.
