Has anyone tried to take the GENESIS emblem off from the Trunk??? If so, how do you do it?

Pretty much. heat also helps....I used a heat gun and glide floss. Took just a few minutes. After the emblem was off, I removed the adhesive with baby shampoo and water mix. (same mix I use for tinting windows)

You can also spray with WD40 and let it soak for a few minutes...it will come off by hand.

Common misconception about WD40...it is a GREAT solvent...it is a POOR lubricant...

Yep WD40 works. I used it and no paint damage although it does make a gummy mess of the remaining adhesive...like everything else "plus and minus"

Obviously, you will want to be absolutely sure that all WD-40 residue is removed before you apply the new badge. I would use a strong detergent like Dawn dish washing liquid soap.
