Is $40,799 a good price for a new black/black 2012 R-Spec?
I recently purchased a 2012 3.8 w/premium. I ended up purchasing my current Genesis from my local dealer in Cincinnati Ohio because I wanted white/cashmere.
I did have extensive email discussions with Randy Wetzel at Bob Poynter Hyundai during my purchase experience and found him to be a straight shooter. If I couldn't get the numbers to work at my local dealer, I would have gotten the 2012 silver/black 3.8 w/premium that Randy had last September.
Now I am wishing I had purchased the R-Spec and am considereing getting out of my 3.8 and going to the R-Spec.
Forgetting whether I will like the color or whether this change makes economic sense, is $40,799 a good price for a new R-Spec? The only other charges are tax (Indiana - 7%) and title ($35). This dealership prides itself on no hidden fees, no doc prep fees etc.
So, is this a good price for an new 2012 R-Spec?
Oh yeah - if someone else wants this car go ahead and call Randy, I am just toying with the idea and it is at best 50/50 whether I will move past the considering stage of the process.
