  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could change the image that comes up on the navi screen when you turn the Genny on? We could change it to display the winged Genesis logo or whatever you wanted... a photo of your dog or your wife's butt. Anyone else thought about this or am I just weird? Any thoughts on how it could be done? The Engineering Menu?

Don't know how, but there are people out there that do. I had a 1997 BMW, 7 series once that a fellow in NY was able to get the "TV," yes TV in the Nav display, to operate and even while driving! BMW said it couldn't be done. All it takes is money ... keep asking, someone knows how to Hack it!

I was just thinking about this lastnight.
it must be similar to flashing a splash screen in android..but harder I am sure.

You cannot do it on the Genesis. Unlike most other cars that have HDD access and allow you to save cd's and other media to it, the Genesis does not. I was able, in my Acura TL SH-AWD I just got rid of, to store pictures and up to 12 gigs of ripped cd's. I was able to change my splash screen to whatever picture I could save on the HDD. Hyundai needs to make a fix for this. IT is a big plus to have a HDD that you can save data too.

Wow the Genesis and the 2012 TL SH-AWD are on my short list.
