  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Borla vs. Magnaflow exhaust

I have a 2012 genesis 4.6 want a new exhaust but what is better?

I can't speak for the Magnaflow system for the 4.6. I have owned magnaflow in the past.

here is what I can tell you. The Borla effing rocks. it sheds 55lbs from the stock system and puts a dyno proven 19 torque AT THE WHEELS - keep in mind thats with regular 87 octane and the traction nanny.

expect around 30 at the wheels with the fuse pulled and premium! if that doesnt sell you i can burn all the way through first and into 2nd gear from a dead stop. it's aggressive sounding without feeling like your in a pro-stocker. there are some clips on u-tube that are pretty true to life,

Thanks I looked some up on YouTube and borla seems the way to go. To me the sound is much deeper I like that. The Magnaflow had the deep grown but when taking off it seemed to sound like a civic with a exhaust
