I have a '12 Genesis and I like its horn, nevertheless....
I replaced the stock horn on my 06 Sonata with a Wolo Bad Boy...it was awesome and caused a pizza delivery kid, who was on his cellphone and crowding into my lane, to drop his cellphone OUT THE CAR WINDOW at about 40 mph...
On my old Isuzu pickup truck, last year, I replaced the stock "ricer burner" horn with a Stebel High and Low...so it sounds like a big old Caddy or big pickup truck. It gets attention.
I replaced the motorcycle horn on my Suzuki with a Stebel Nautilus as well. It gets heard.
When I think "horns" I think "Stebel".
If you really wanna walk the walk, though, THIS is the ticket:

Nothing like having a locomotive horn on your vehicle. Got a friend who has one (he's the one who showed me the site), and we were sitting at one of the local busy intersections, first in line, waiting for the green arrow to make a left turn. The light changes green but as usual. there are two or three people who just keep coming well after red and then intrude into our green, coming from the RIGHT, making their left turns. Well, my buddy just said "Watch THIS" and he hit that locomotive horn...the woman who was in the last car, now keep in mind this was probably TWO full seconds after OUR light turned green arrow..he laid on that horn..and well, yea she was yakkin on her cellphone and I will bet $100 that she crapped her pants....out here in the desert, nearest railroad is 35 miles N, and she gets a full blast of a locomotive horn...she screamed something in her phone, and dropped it, her eyes got as big as saucers and It looked like she was ready to meet her maker....she had to have thought a TRAIN was bearing down on her at a crossing....no doubt she had to get the drivers seat cleaned....
This may sound like a dumb question, but are any of you disappointed with the stock horn? It kind of sounds like a dying goose when used and wanted to see if anyone has chaned that? Perhaps the Equus comes equipped with a horn that actually sounds like it doesn't belong on a 1996 Honda Civic.
