Does anyone know if a used (Gen) Key FOB can be reprogramed for a 2012 Genesis? I assumed it could be but a friend said some cars will not acknowledge a reprogramed FOB.

Did any have this problem. Trunk opens with out key fob. I just touch the trunk rubber with the key fob in the house and the trunk opens. 2012 4.6, with less than 2,400 miles. Marty
