I am wondering what the two plastic housing pieces are that are on either side of the rear view mirror and stuck on the inside of the windshield. This would be on a 2014 R Spec. Can someone enlighten me?

I can't find how to disable the tilting side mirrors-no center position on the switch, nor menu item to disable. Dealer doesn't know nor does the Equus hotline. The tilt is more than I want to see. I assume this feature does not exist, but dealer thinks the 2014 has this option. Any ideas??

As most of you know, the V-6 cars do not come with a dimming driver's mirror at any price. Why this was left out of the advanced or tech packages is a mystery. This is an annoyance I'm working on solving. It seems there is no real difference between the R-Spec mirror and the V-6 tech package...
