Hasn't posted much yet...
My first post so go easy on me if i dork this up.
Just picked up my 2010 4.6L (17,000miles) last month. I thought it might be fun to match some of the 0-60 claims. Here is what i found.
Stock. 93 Octane (East Coast Gas). 1/2 tank gas. Stock Dunlops. 55F temp and Dry.
I first tried with ESC off (not pulling fuse or switching off fuse, just pushing button off in car). I figured that the car has plenty of HP up top but not too much grunt off the line. So, i thought some break torque would do some good.........WRONG! This is what happened. Spun right through first. Let off around 5000rpm in firsts because too much spin = slow 0-60. Fun! But Slow.

Then i tried with ESC off and no break torque. Just mash the pedal from dead stop. This is outcome. Just the right amount of chirp chirp off the line. No ESC interfear. A little flat from 2000-3000RPM and typical snail slow shift from 1-2. Result. Very solid and repeteable 0-60 times in the 5.5-5.6 range.

With better traction and ESC off and >2000rpm break torque, I bet these cars could get into the very low 5s.
Anyone have similar experiance or technique or trial for 0-60 runs.
In May, i'm taking her to the drag strip 1/4 mile for some times runs.
