  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I just found this miniature Genesis from one of model car sellers in Korea.
manufacturer says it will be Hyundai's genuine accessory for Genesis.

That's great! But can you get it in the States yet?

Thanks for the link and pics. In some views it looks like the Genesis hood ornament isn't chrome plated. Would look better plated like on the actual car.

How about availability in Canada?

Is this something Hyundai Dealers would sell?

Dan

Looks like it's only available for preorder now, but very cool nonetheless

129+s/h, probably 20-30 bucks

I would guess that HMA would not import it, but maybe you can ask Korean Auto Imports (who imports the Winged Logo's etc) if they can get it when it becomes available.

I have an irrational lust for this...

$130 or so? A mere bag of shells for us Genesis owners......

I think I have to buy this too...

Sheesh - I'm reverting 55 years - playing with my metal toys and trucks....

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
One sweet looking car! I'm tempted to jump on that Korean website and preorder one, but there isn't enough in English to figure out how to order.

Yeah, with Google Translate, I could figure out which color I was adding to the cart (black or silver), but after that, the checkout and registration process were Korean to me.

I will get one and put it on my desk in my office. The attention to detail is outstanding, i am very impressed

I sent an e-mail to Korean Auto Imports asking them if they might consider selling these models since there seems to be a growing interest in them. They were not aware of this model but will be contacting Jigamaree and ..."We'll be glad to consider this request after looking further into it."

Let us know! I know that I would definitely buy it if its available.. Would go nicely on my shelves next to my Franklin mint car models

I think this is best way to go. I would not automatically assume that the Korean vendor is set up to ship to North America and deal with US or Canadian customs, tariffs, etc. Korean Auto Imports seems to do a good job and their prices seem reasonable on other stuff.

The diecast model has been on pre-order... aaand It's finally on sale!
I am a member of a local online diecast forum, and my friends received the initial batch of the shipment.

Although some models, not all of them, suffer minor manufacturing defects (Wheel is off-centered, chrome window trim is flaky, etc... The company is working on the problems) the model is quite impressive for a start-up company. We Korean diecast collectors are very excited to have a well-detalied Genesis model. Too bad they don't have a V8 model - quite natural considering V8 cars are not sold domestically.

Genesis is available in Silver or Black, and the company says White is in the pipeline.
I'll be visiting Korea in March and considering getting one.

What's a VW doing here??

Do you have a list of sites that might be selling this diecast Genesis?
