12.5 Map Update

I recently noticed a new feature in the 13.5 update (2018 G80 3.3TT Sport 9.2" premium touch screen-G135SP2DHPE).
The maps now shows the lane layout as you approach an intersection. Nice !

Just received my update in the mail. On the front cover "navigation" is spelled correctly. However, on the spine, "nagivation" shows loud and proud in all caps. It's amazing to me that a major corporation would care so little about their branding and public image as to not only fail to catch up front but on the back end, after failing to catch it, would fail to to make the correction. Instead they allow their brand to become fodder for customers to snicker at them. Seems like a minor thing but with respect to branding it's pretty odd that they just let it go. Scratching my head and then going to install it lol.

A word of warning. I ordered an received the from MapnSoft that is supposed to be the latest update. However, after the 30 minute update time, I discovered they sent me 12.47.44. I didn't notice until I got to the last page of the instruction manual. Called the number on the insert. It was actually Genesis. They indicated MapnSoft was supposed to send 13.5. Huh?! I thought it was 12.5. At any rate, they referred me to MapnSoft. They are closed. Means I'll be annoyed calling and likely getting the run around on Monday.

You have the latest version. They have an odd numbering system. You have what is called 13.5 but on the SD card is 12.47. What was version 12.5 on the card as 12.44 IIRC.

No run around, no reason to be annoyed, just install it. You'd think Genesis would be able to answer that but evidently they cannot.

EdP, thanks for the clarification. Prior to calling Genesis I thought this might be the case, but of course wanted to be sure they hadn't sent the wrong one in error. I also was surprised that Genesis could shed no useful light on the question. You saved a bit of the annoyance lol.
