  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I initially was dealing with a dead car battery, after trying to jump start the vehicle the car stopped trying to crank all together.
I have put in a new car battery and new batteries in both keys, the car does nothing. The light that I’m getting is the car with the key through it as if the key is not registering and the system is locked.. I have tried pushing the key fob on the start and still nothing... HELP PLEASE

It's been many years since I've been under the hood; got to be old and lazy but verify you can still turn on the lights. This will indicate there is voltage available. Other than that, all I can offer is call the dealer. Sorry.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
If you have lights do you hear anything when you try to start, e.g. any clicks, or other noises? If not check fuses and if you have, or can borrow one, use a code reader to check for any codes stored in the OBD.

Also, I do not know if the '15 has it, but later Genesis models have a switch in the dashboard fuse panel that has to be "on" for a lot of things to work.

It probably needs a starter. Mine did. See my post about this problem.
