1st post! New R-Spec owner

Hello to all! I've been lurking while my lease was ending on 2011 Lexus GS350. Just purchased 2013 R-Spec!! I've had car for two weeks and I'm very happy I got away from Lexus. (Great car, but they got too pricey and too ugly for my taste.) Never been happier w/ a new vehicle than I am w/ the Gennie. My friend has a 2011 3.8 Tech so my experience with his swayed me.

Spoiler and wings ordered. 35% tint being done same time they are installed.

Taxman -- Good to hear from you. I just got a new 5.0 Rspec in August. Great car, great warranty and quality workmanship, nice 5.0L motor, etc. Did your GS 350 have the power seat bolsters (not lumbar)? The power side bolsters is something I am badly needing/missing with the Rspec Sedan. Nothing wrong with the seats for a regular person, but i have a busted-up spine. Thus I have been trying to figure out what to do, and the GS 350 was one of the options. Any input you have would be appreciated.

PS: This is a great forum with some fine folks here. Regards, and enjoy that 5.0L ... it gets faster after it gets broken in IMHO/experience with 3,224 miles on mine. Dan

Just got a 2012 5.0 RSPEC! LOVE IT! Traded in my 2010 Gen Coupe 3.8 track. Got a fair deal although the dealer tacked on a $2400 extended service plan and $750 GAP insurance without my knowing it... Not cool.. The car is fast, sexy, and fun despite what the reviews say. Mods: real lip soiler, window spoiler, hood wing emblem, weathertech mats, sunroof visor and window rain gaurds. Love this car! Averaging 24.6 mpg in mixed relatively sedate driving. About the same as the coupe...
