  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I like wheels such as these that look like they belong on the car. They look "correct" not aftermarket. Good choice

Looks good, very clean. Now you have me thinking if i should have gone with a 285 instead of 275.

Delicious!

Looks almost like the Linea Corse LC818 that scottisha had on his car.

Fills the wheel wells nicely and shows off those big front rotors.

Well done!:)

I like them! Link to them? Price? Stats on them?

I think they are subtle and might actually be a little too subtle for me haha

Here is the link http://www.mhtwheels.com/mht-luxury-alloy-wheel.cfm?id=5336

I was able to get 4 wheels and the rear tires for 1500 installed from Discount Tires in IL, wheels were $240 each and two rear tires $200 each

Fronts are 20x8.5 +35 rears are 20x10 +40

Fronts are in just a bit and rears sit just right with the fender

275 was my initial choice but after looking at some other members and seeing that 285 fits together with it being optimal size on a 10" wheel I gave it a try.... and it worked :)

I am about to get 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the back. Does anyone for see this being a problem. 2011 Genesis Sedan 3.8.

20x9 should be ok in the front with an offset of +35 or lower, I believe the range for front is +27/+40 depending on the width of the wheel and how the wheels will fit
20x10.5 might fit, you will probably need to go with a +45 offset, it looks close with my 20x10 +40 but looks like another inch would probably fit without rubbing on any components but would too close for my comfort

Hows the ride with these wheels and tires?

The ride comfort did not seem to change that much from the stock wheels, the responsiveness has improved.

Also my traction assistance doesn't kick in as the rear wheels pull better from the line as opposed to the 245 that i had on before this set.

Absolutely the look I want to achieve. I know this thread is a few weeks past, but OP: is your car dropped?

No, the car is not dropped. The wheels with offset fill the wells just right that almost gives a lowered look to the car.

I have a satin white 3.8. just wondering if you have any issues with rubbing on either end of the car. I am assuming the wheel clearance is the same as mine, though, I know the suspension will differ. I am really considering copying your style! I will go with the niche wheel or something very similar to the stock 17" but in a 20".

There is no rubbing at all, even though the back side appears to be pretty close. The width of wheels together with the offset has the right amount of clearance.

cool. thanks. I may go with 10's though.
