  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I finally got rid of the stock 17" wheels and Michelin MXM4 Primacy tires that came on the car when I purchased it. I feared changing to a 20" wheel and tire would totally destroy the ride quality. I found this change to be a very subtle. I went with a staggered setup of 20" inch TSW Nardo wheels in 20 x 8.5 in front and 20 x 10 in the rear. Tire choice was Hankook Ventus V12 Evos 245/40/20 in front and 275/35/20 in the rear. After a short break in period of 300 miles thus far I can say I am very happy with the ride. The Hankooks seem to be a great tire for the money. I would expect they should be even better in another 200-300 miles. Also anyone considering changing wheels and tires I would highly recommend getting a Road Force Balance done on the new wheels n tires. I will be posting some pics shortly.

Good looking wheel! Must have pics on car! :)

Now after doing the wheels, seeing how open the design is. I NEED new crossdrilled & slotted rotors. Also trying to decide if I should paint the cailpers or buy the aluminum Genesis covers. Anyone that has had aftermarket rotors installed for some time feel free to chime in with any recommendations.

I already have the R1 Concepts rotors on my list along with the EBC as well. I did find some interesting rotors on Brakeworld.com made by Chromebrakes. These seem to be really nice and use a proprietary coating that lasts 5x longer than zinc and comes in multiple colors. The rotors also have a lifetime warranty like the R1 Concept rotors except unlike the R1s you dont have to purchase their brake pads for the warranty to be valid. That was one thing I didnt like about the R1s.

Try Zeckhausen Racing, http://store.zeckhausen.com/catalog/index.php. I "upgraded" my braking system on my 2009 Sonata Limited 3.3L V6 and my 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track A/T, and I'm planning on going back to them for the drilled & slotted rotors, pads and stainless steel brake lines for the sedan!
