2009-10-11 Genesis wood and leather steering wheel

Hello,I don't want to make a big deal out of this but I got screwed by KAI on this steering wheel and now someone is going to get a heck of a deal on it.I ordered it on December 2,2010 and they took out $709.00 immediatly from my account. Six or seven weeks go by and no wheel and no updates. I send emails,no response. I call and call and finally get a girl on the line and tell her I can't wait any longer and want to cancel the order as it says you can if item has not shipped yet.She told me it had already shipped.It still took 10weeks to get it and I had already traded for a new Equus. The wheel is brand new in the box and has not been opened. Before I list it on ebay I thought I would give one of you fellows first chance on it. $525.00 shipped. Send me a pm if interested. Great price for this wheel. I have one and I love it - pricey but worth it. See my album for photos. KAI screwed up my order as well (the maker in Korea sent the wrong style) but they took care of it right away. Not to be an apologist for KAI, but apparently between US customs and dealing with the suppliers in Korea it is not uncommon for things to go wrong or become delayed.

Sorry to hear, but not surprised as I experienced a smilar situtation and finally had to get paypal involved.

Will they not offer a full refund if you return new in the box? Regardless KAI should accept culpability given their complete lack of responsiveness for the first 6 weeks........but again we are talking about KAI.

Hey Guys, I can't believe somone out there doesn't want to upgrade their 3.8 Genny with this new wood steering wheel. If you have ever seen it on the 4.6 it is beautiful! Make me an offer. You might catch me in a weak moment!
