  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Please someone tell me that I do not need to replace my display!

Display has light on only. Radio, heater and other buttons work.
I have pulled all audio fuses along with doing a reset and disconnected from battery.

Dealership wants to charge me for a dyno while stating it might not find out what is wrong. Not covered under warranty. 3 year audio, 5 yr or 60 thou miles.
over the miles by 11 thou.

Went to Car Toys, they have a ENBX265 or UNAVI xgs 8". Are these good replacements?

UNAVI is a good choice if you have Base or Premium Package Trim levels on a 2009. If you have Tech Package, it will not work.

UNAVI has a new version out recently. Check the other threads on this subject posted in this forum by the UNAVI manufacturer for more information about direct pricing and for local installer information.

Well, as of a few days ago, hubby hit a bump in road and it now works! No real out of pocket cost, lol! Going back to dealer and have them locate loose wire.
Thanks for the input.

Wow! You would never convince me to take my Genny into a dealership and ask them to find the loose wire........... IMO it'd be like having the goats guard the cabbage patch! ;)
