  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ok my question is why do some come with the little controller mouse like behind the shifter, and other dont. I know when it has it it controls that radio and navigation, but I've seen a few with GPS without that thou.? I Googled and look many places online and no answer.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The one with the console control knob has the full tech pkg. Which includes smart cruise control, adaptive self leveling turning hid headlights, 17 speaker lexicon sound system, larger brakes on the v8, park assist, rear sun shade, power seat and steering wheel settings for two drivers, and heated seats with cooling for the driver. Also upgraded trim on the interior with additional option settings in the control screen for the car.

Thanks, that makes sense now haha. Also why is it that some come with the hyundai badge and others don't instead they have the genesis badge even on the steering wheel?

The round knob is the most visible part of the DIS (driver information system), found in the tech package (09-14) as mentioned above.

In 2012, all V8's were Tech trim. The 3.8s were available in three trims: Base, Premium (nav w/o DIS), and Tech (nav w/ DIS).

All come with the Hyundai badge. People often replace the badge on the trunk with the Genesis badge that is used on the cars in Korea $20) . The steering wheel badge is often a cheap knock off, but some crazy people replace their air bag with the Korean air bag with the Genesis badge ($300 ??)
The center caps on the wheels with the Genesis badge can also be purchased ($60). A hood badge is also available.

^ Same here. Paid $245 w/shipping and sold my OEM bag for $150. Less then $100 for a new KDM wing bag.
