  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have the base 2010 2.0T model genesis coupe. Up until recently the display that shows the temp, time, radio stations, etc has worked fine. But I can not get it to illuminate along with the rest of the interior lighting such as the volume control, radio controls, etc. The display works and shows info such as the time, etc but it just will not illuminate along with the rest of the lighting at night. Is there something I did such as a setting that may have turned the illumination off?

So far I have checked and made sure that the illumination knob on the left side of the steering wheel is at the max, I have tried different headlight modes, and tried pressing the display button a few times and nothing has worked.

If this is a serious issue, what do I need to do to get it fixed?
