  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2010 Price Paid

Unless I am mistaken it is impossible for your 4.6 to have a sticked of over $48 since with every single option AND accessory the sticker is just under $44K....I am thinking you may have written down the wrong number...I am sure the sticker was $43,XXX. You got a great price though...same as I paid last week...CONGRATS!!!

Paying 29,000 + TTL for a base model with about $600 in options. Seem like a good deal?

Hi folks, anyone heard of a deal for a 4.6 WITHOUT tech?

I am in SoCal and a dealer just quoted me a silver one for $35000 + TTL. Anyone gotten it for less than this? Good deal?

Unless you're in a position to write off the cost of the car, I personally think leasing is a poor financial decision. I think it's more economical to purchase outright, keep the car for ten years or more - while putting the equivalent amount of monthly car payments into savings. Then when you're ready for a new one you'll have the cash sitting there and waiting. Of course, if you think you absolutely must have a new car every year or two then all bets are off - but economy is never a consideration in that scenario.

I knew a woman who was divorced with two small children, and her husband was always behind on child support because he absolutely had to have a new Camaro every year. Priorities, anyone?

I think it's bring this dead thread back from the dead ~~~~

why? I was wondering if anybody got any 2010 (left overs) recently, if yes, how much you got it for ?

Reason I ask because I've been to this dealer that has 2 2010 left on the lot, I don't like red so I will take the silver one /w black interior. but it has a scratch under the fog light about 12 inches long. I gave them 33K before they won't budge. I'm thinking if 34K will do ?

I can get a 2011 for 36760 + 399 doc fee + tax + title somewhere else. (been to dealership today)

Car's value will always depreciate so it's been there for a year + it's damaged. 34K sounds reasonable. right? and I think my limit is 35K.

Many Thanks !

Where are you located, what city?

I would go with the 2011, but a new 2010 for that price is a good deal for an unused 2 year old car.

We bought a Santa Fe almost 3 years ago and went shopping for another vehicle three months ago (May, 2010) as my Ford Escape was getting tired. My wife drives the Santa Fe. Anyway, long story short, test drove a used 4.6 Genesis at the dealer and loved it. Wasn't in the market for a sedan even as we were probably going to buy an upgraded Santa Fe for my wife and I would take the old one. Kinda goes that way, right guys?

Anyway, got the bug to get a used one as it was in the budget. Found a 2010, cherry black, loaded 4.6 at an upscale "previously owned" dealer in Houston for $31,146 with 18K miles. We love it......and the best part is, it's "my" car!

Was initially looking at getting a 2012 Black/Tan 5.0 but the OTD price was a little more than I could stomach. I was driving down to Houston (4 hr drive) to pickup a car when I was notified 15 minutes out that the car was sold. Awesome...happened to stumble upon another dealership and they had a black/black 2010 4.6. Drove/looked great so I got it. Fully loaded with everything. 16k miles for $27,615 OTD.

Looking to add tint and wheels possibly. I can't understate how impressive the interior is! Glad to be apart of the forum finally :D
