  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2011/12 Genesis Pictures hit the web

Yup! - This is the Wheel that I was referring to! - Looks far better in Person!

Which is strange, no one posted a picture of this wheel in the 'Ugly Wheel Thread'

I really liked it! thanks for posting the picture.

Speaking of the shifter. Do you notice that there is no (Hyundai style) shiftgate (P-R-N-D) or the Hyundai "Sportshift" gate. (+/-)?

Yeah, it's one of those BMW electronic, joystick style shifter.
Probably for the 8-speed.
There's a rumor among Korean forum members saying it's the 3.3 GDI w/ 8 speed transmission.

An 8 speed transmission would be nice as long as they don't make the gearing to tall to get there and rob the car of the nice kick in your pants feeling it gives you now......what I really would have preferred seeing is a Variable Cylinder engine like they have in the Chrysler 300M's and Honda Accord V6's. That way you get the best of both worlds in HP on demand and great gas mileage once up to speed.

I'm anxious to find out about the new performance figures with the bigger engine and 8-speed transmission... I'm hoping for 0-60 times close to 5 seconds flat... That would really be something..
