  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I did search the forum for this, but did not find it, so…

I just replaced iPhone 4S with iPhone 5S.

What can I do to use the Bluetooth connection with the iPhone 5?

I certainly hope there's SOMETHING I can do!

Thanks,
Allen

I have the navigation system.

same car, same phone ... mine connects without incident and works fine for in-car calls. i don't try to stream music or anything like that (which doesn't work anyway without a cable).

Veed,
So do you simply connect the phone via the USB cable?

Thanks,
Allen

no, bluetooth isn't a cable cnx (and i don't have the special cable anyway). i simply paired the phone with the Genesis as described in the owner's manual.

Settings -> Bluetooth on the iPhone ought to discover the Genesis if it's powered up/broadcasting. you can initiate the pairing from the phone i think...
