2011 V8 Dead engine with only 11,000 miles

A friend had an engine replaced on an Infiniti after 50k miles, got a new warranty on the replacement, and it INCREASED the car value.

Update on the repair...we have a new starter, engine ,catalytic converter and a new resinator. It was in the shop for 20 days. Any bets that this car is going to just fine later on down the road?

Since it is a complete new engine (not a rebuild), so long as it is mated correctly to the transmission (which you should be able to tell right away), there is not much they can do wrong.

This does not change anything in the value of the vehicle this is only exposed to the manufacturer , remember it was a warranty repair not an accident car fax , and only is some shops list your "MAINTENANCE" ...Trust me they did nothing wrong and your car will not loose any value.
