  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2012 Genesis Photos - Finally some legit, clear shots

I don't know about you lot... but if I pick up a Genesis, one of the main features FOR ME is the delicious warranty. And if I'm into a warranty like Hyundai's, then I'm PROBABLY looking to keep the car for a good long while, and not looking to replace it in a year or two, or even three

Well done, Hyundai.

It gets old fast taking it back numerous times for the same problems and/or them telling you that your issues are "normal"

Im glad its got that warranty. It needs it.

I am not a fan of the rear lights......definitely not as upscale IMHO. Would be nice to see the interior.

If it has LED's in the front assembly they are not clearly apparent.....but would indeed be a nice addition.

I may be partial, but prefer my 2010 design....think it looks more elegant.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Front headlamp assembly does not have AUDI-like LED's but a white LED light pipe- more Volvo-like- from top left swooping to mid right- similar to 2012 Azera/Grandure.
The front Wing badge in this last photo is Photo Shop.

I like the front, and STREETS is correct, the LED will be a line marking the eyebrow from top to middle right and not LED dots like AUDI (Thank Gawd)

The rear is 3 steps backwards and really messed up the car, the car doesn't look upscale from the rear anymore. It is the first pic we see of it without camo, maybe live the car looks different, dont' know if the looks of the rear will grow on me or not.

Maybe Hyundai is trying too hard to compete (and look like) Mercedes?

PS: When I first saw the E class redesign my first thought was "Daimler separated from Chrysler but the damage is shown on the E class as it got infected by Sebring tail lights"

I know what you mean about those lights...

Here's what the Grandeur/Azera's look like:

And with the headlights on:

And the taillights:

You'd think the new Genny's would look very similar, no? I doubt they would make it LESS upscale than the Grandeur - if anything, it would at least MATCH the look.

:)

That's It!! lol

gadgetboy,

You might try looking in Cartersville. It's not a lease, but I traded my 2011 black with tan interior 2011 Genesis for the Equus. It is a V-8 with tech, has about 8000 or so miles.

:)

If the '12 Genny's headlights look anywhere near that in terms of night time lighting, I'm buying a set of headlights to replace mine. :)

Attempted humor will not make up for disgraceful behavior.

This coming from the queen of cheapO, my post was clear that I did not call the tail lights, I only called the body panels and the bumper cover which were both exactly as I posted, however you stated the 2012 would look nothing like the picture I posted without clarifying your position.
If you think that changing tail light covers makes the car look nothing like the original than you clearly have no clue about design, which is fine, but if that is the case you should remain quiet on design issues because the 2012 looks EXACLY like the 2011 except for the tail light covers and the bumper cover, which was in the picture I posted. I should have known you would try to weasel out of your word, I agree this is my fault for trusting you. Lesson Learned!!!

P.S. If you have no intention of keeping your word stay quiet.

I'm gonna just gift my GLX 4-Motion to someone, just so I can pick up an R-Spec.

:)

Question is... how much. And does it come with Blue Link?
