2012 black R-spec
3000+ miles
my paint on the front bumper at the right hand side joint (as it bumps up to the wheel arch body panel) has started to flake off. The dealer is all over it and is is going to send it out to a body shop to deal with it (giving me a loaner too). Hopefully it will be resolved without issue. Another problem is that I have an invisibleshield on that bumper that the dealer said was for me to deal with the reapplication of. The flaking goes right up to and stops at the invisishield. Well if that costs $, I won't be too happy.
Out of curiosity I called Hyundai USA customer service to explain things. Surprisingly, they said that if there is $ out of my pocket (to still be determined) then they would consider taking care of that as a onetime courtesy.
I'll update this post as things get resolved (one way or another)
wish me luck.
