2013 Accord rear-end looks like 2009-2011 Genesis

Good grief the 9th gen Accord sedan looks terrible.. really not all that many changes, but the one's shown look terrible in comparison to the 8th and MMC '8.5' Accprd sedan.

The coupe is headed in a unimpressive direction as well.. slapping some traits from other manufacturers and borrowing some front foglight and fascia cues from the Kia camp.

*a bit bias, since I own a 2010 coupe

yeah it looks like a bmw from the side.

copying is the highest form of flattery... hyundai,honda,etc appear to be doing it.
Hyundai sure doesnt hold the rights /grin to their designs that mimic bmw/mercs/lexus etc.

I don't really have a problem w/ the new Accord.

Sure, Honda could have been a bit more adventurous w/ the sheetmetal (like the new Fusion and 6) but this is still an improvement over its predecessor and way better than the nondescript 7G Accord that is behind it.

The big improvement is on the inside w/ the stylish dash.

The rectangular headlights do seem to have been a bit "Optimized" - giving them a sleeker look.

I like everything about that car, except the grill (and the plastic piece above it).

Other than that... impressive from Mazda! They're a brand that, for one reason or another, I have always completely ignored.

Good to see they're trying!
