  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello All,
I am very interested in getting a 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track 6sp manual. However, I want to make sure that I do not overpay. I know there is a chance the dealers will be verrryy stubborn, because this car just came out. I am very good at negotiating when I am at dealerships! If anyone can help, please let me know!

Thanks! :D

Mustang or Camaro has better deals

truecar.com price (in my area) - $32,852 (includes floor mats)

Financing: 1.9% for 36 months • 2.9% for 48 months • 3.9% for 60 months

The $1,500 rebates don't seem to be available for the 2013 models... you might want to wait a while (and no, I wouldn't wait myself either LOL).

Good luck!

I was trying to provide you the Hyundai Circle prices in my area; however, there weren't any available. I also checked zip codes from SF, San Jose (in CA) and Orlando but there weren't any there either.

I just picked up a 2013 2.0T R-Spec (the only one in my area right now). If you see one listed, let me know and I'll check up with you.

Hyundai finds itself in the unique position of having every plant they operate worldwide working at capacity and still falling behind on orders. This is confirmed by the fact that they offer the least in the way of rebates and incentives of all the major manufacturers and have one of the shortest number of days of inventory. This will conspire to make the great deals of old very hard to come by today. But this is not all bad as resale values will chase new prices as they rise and your net cost of ownership will not be too affected. Buy now and start enjoying your new car. Hyundai Circle prices have been harder to get as everyone who availed themselves of it in the past published the prices on the internet and ruined the program for everybody else. If you can buy it at that price it is nobodies business but your own.

I just leased a 2013 grand touring V6 in Denver Colorado. The car is not very popular here I think because of the rear wheel drive. Anyway, I did not have to haggle much to get them to offer the car at invoice or slightly below. I got a very good lease deal and only put 500 down. It was really my trade in that required the most haggling.

da a lease is not your car it is theirs and you are renting it. then you give it back to show nothing for it at the end of the lease..

since MSRP is around $33,800 I would assume that buying the car for around $32,000 would be fair. You might even get $1k less if you negotiate well and have excellent credit. Try using hyundai.com price quote to send out emails to all your local dealerships. ask for a price quote or even an invoice price.

You are right, a lease isn't for everyone. I lease because I want a new car every 3 years. It does not make sense to buy in that scenario. The point I was trying to make is that I leased the car at less than invoice. I could have bought it at that price if I wanted, instead I got a very good lease deal. You could purchase this car at less than invoice, in Denver anyway.

add up your lease payments for let say 10 years at 12 months = 120 X $ 450 = $54000. You could have owned title in hand 2 cars, But you do not have nothing in your hand..nothing

Its a 3 year lease and my payment is 360 with 500 down. I don't want to own the car, I want a new car every 3 years. If I wanted to buy the car, I could have bought it at less than invoice. So when you are driving your 5 year old car around...I will have a new one. But this isn't a thread about lease vs buying, so why don't you stay on topic.

I haven't seen a lease last 10 years yet!

I know it was over your head slick but my example was for a total of 10 years of leasing. You are probably one of them guys you have to talk real slooooow to for you to understand...

because you are not very smart when it comes to finances. Why are you putting down $500? $12960 dollars at the end of your lease and you are giving the car back or the option to finance the remainder to buy a used car.. Leases are for businesses for the tax write-off. But ass wipes like to throw their money away...:welcome:

I wouldn't expect you to understand my point. It is obvious that your thinking is extremely simple and concrete. I do not think anyone should be accepting financial advice from someone who writes at a third grade level "You could have owned title in hand 2 cars, But you do not have nothing in your hand..nothing." I would spend less time on blogs and more time learning proper English so that people may take you seriously.
