Hi,
I haven't found much info regarding the V6 sedan differential service. I have a 2013 3.8 sedan and I'm looking to replace my fluid (just turned 70,000 miles). I was wondering if anyone has done this service on their sedan and if so what kind of fluid did you use. I know it takes 75W-90. I drive 200 miles a day and I would like to go with a synthetic. I was thinking mobil1 or redline. Do either one of those meet the hypoid requirement? Would I need any additional friction modifier? I have a slight whine on decel at times and if possible I would like to quiet that down. I am the second owner so I am out of warranty. Do the V6's have a limited slip or is it an open diff? Thank you for your input!
