  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I see that many of the Equus' are heavily discounted. I was wondering if any of you have an idea of what a new 2014 or 2015 Equus ultimate could be bought for? I also like to keep my cars for atleast 100,000 miles so I was wondering if you think this car can hold up. Thanks.

Make sure you get an extended warranty to cover your entire expected ownership. The electronic gadgets for the car and the entertainment/GPS system are of primary concern.

A few months ago, people where getting at least $12K off of MSRP for a new Equus. You can search the forum.

The new 2017 Hyundai Equus will be sold as a Genesis G90, and be a whole new design. Should be on sale by this summer, but hard to say how much it will cost. Any remaining 2014-2016 Equus models that haven't been sold whey the 2017's come out are really going to be bargains.

its going to be a lot harder to find an ultimate
If you are in a large metro area that might help
Understand that as soon as the 2017 roll out your car is a year older...a new body style also drives the resale value down further

there is still a 2014 new signature left at one of my local Hyundai dealerships
I would start the negotiation at $20K off a 2014 and $15K off a 2015

you might also look at a Kia K900 as well...which shares most of its under pinnings with the Equus
I would start with $20K off a 2015 there as well
