  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I leased a new 2015 3.8 RWD Ultimate Ibiza Blue/Ivory on 1/30/2016 near Austin, TX. The Ultimate/Ibiza Blue/Ivory was my "perfect" combo.

List price is $50,200 (based on the sticker, including freight/handling, mud guards, wheel locks and cargo tray).

I put $2,500 down, and pay $428/month for 35 months (36 month lease, first payment is included in the $2,500).

I have perfect credit (815+) and qualified for a number of discounts (competitive owner, and a bunch more), Hyundai is paying the bulk of the sales tax and I got a number of coupons from the dealership.

Overall, my new lease is less than what I paid for my current lease on a $42,000 car. Over the 3 years I will lease the car I pay a total of $17,480 or about 35% of the list price.

I only drove the car for about 60 miles the day I got it, but I am enjoying it very much so far. Lots of things to learn still, some minor things I find not ideal (probably personal preference), but overall an unbeatable value. I didn't actually need a new vehicle for a few more weeks until the current lease is over, but for the deal I was offered it's OK to have an extra car for a few weeks.

Can anyone please post the Lease or Finance rates in Canada? I am not sure how much to negotiate with my dealer in Winnipeg, MB. Need to know if I am getting a good deal or not.

No AWD v8 in USA. If it helps, 2 weeks ago, I got a 2015 v8 ultimate rwd. $0 down, all included $524/mo for 36 mo. I paid my first month's payment up front.

for FL in USA
MF is .00009
36 mo
51% residual
got them to $524/mo

not a good deal. I beat it by 124 a month

there is no way you got a 5.0 w/ultimate pkg for $400/month with nothing out of pocket/no trade in etc.

btw your tag line says you drive a v6

A new $56K car for a little over $500 a month with no money out of pocket is a good deal by most standards. Give the guy a break.

I am fairly certain that he is thinking i was posting about a v6. I would love to see how anyone could get a new v8 ultimate for $400/month.

If he could tell me his source, I will go pick up another one for the wife.

A good deal is one you feel good about. Forget what others may have gotten and enjoy your new ride.

I worked the numbers backward and with the current lease cash and MF origination fees, etc, he would have had to negotiate the sale price of a v8 ultimate to under $45k to get to $400 a month. I think he is mistaken with his calculations.

I am happy with my car, the v8 ultimates are like hens teeth these days.

Looking to get a Genny for my next leased vehicle. Turning in a Infiniti G37x at the end of the month.
Looking for residual, money factors, and lease cash / incentives for February. I am in Indianapolis.
2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD with Signature Package. 36 months/ 12K a year. Any help is greatly appreciated as dealers here are tight lipped on details.
Cheers!!

I'm currently paying $603 per month on my black/tan leather Tech. I also got that coverage that prevents me from being charged for any damages to the car. $800 down.

I feel like I got ripped off pretty badly. I made the purchase back in July of 2014.

I'm seeing people on here quoting $500 for a 3.8 Ultimate, with $0. Did I really get ripped off that bad!?

I live in N. Florida now, but I'm planning to lease another Genny when I move to San Diego in May. Does anyone know prices being paid for Ultimates in Southern California? Will I be able to find these $500 deals on them there?

I am from San Diego, and none of the dealership wanted to negotiate too hard. Went up to Tustin (LA-area) to get my car. Got a muuuuuuuuch better deal there!

What sort of deal were you able to negotiate?

Here are the lease rates I was able to get for February from another forum:
2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD, 36 months / 12K per year
Money Factor: .00059
Residual: 57%
$3,000 lease cash
Pretty good rates given the high discounts.
Hopefully, this helps someone! I will try to lease a new Genny in a couple of weeks.
Cheers!

How much is due at signing? Does this only apply to AWD Genny's?

I also turned in my G37x and went Genesis lease just this past Friday. If you are coming from a luxury brand like Infiniti you get $1,000 rebate, just need your Infiniti VIN number. I got a Signature RWD 3.8 for the Base trim MSRP, 3 years @ 12K miles a year, about $340+tax per month, just under a grand out the door cost. I got the car at Capitol Hyundai in San Jose, California, and for what it's worth I had a much better buying experience there than at Infiniti. They don't work for commissions there, all they were worried about was getting 10's on their post buy customer evaluation.

Congratulations.
Who was your sales guy at capitol? I dealt with Ryan when I bought a sonata last year, and pretty much signed up for a lease on a 3.8 until wife nixed it, and he was good. Best
