  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I may have been dreaming... When I drove a 2014 Ultimate, it had a CO2 sensor.

That may be true, but Equus owners still have to endure shame and embarrassment, since their trunk does not automatically open for them just by standing next to it for three seconds.

Shame and embarrassment? Not.

Ok, Hyundai should add these to the 2015 and keep up with continual improvement. That is a Hyundai problem. Not a owner who you pontificate will get your shame.

OMG. It was a joke, not pontificating.

I personally don't care much for all those gadgets, and would not want my trunk to open unless I take a conscious action to open it (other than just standing there next to the trunk for 3 seconds).

I get that. Since this was your intention of humor.

In the silent but always quest for saving seconds in each day, we have a neighbor who swears by her Ford wave the foot opening feature for her hatch . Says it saves time... I think I get that. Once you have it, may like that feature forever.

That would be OK with me, because seems unlikely the trunk would open automatically when not intended. I would not want my trunk to pop open just because I was standing there for 3 seconds. Also, a rear hatch on SUV/crossover is a bit different than a trunk.

My 2014 BMW has it and it never works...more useless junk to break...
