  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I got in my recently purchased 2015 Genesis 3.8 (Love her to death) - 125k miles and have had no issues until this last week. Both the AEB and LDWS light popped up on my dashboard and have not left since. It is causing the steering wheel to slightly tighten up, but no other issues than that. I took it into the dealership for diagnostic testing and they quoted me 190$ for the testing - which was fine. They then called me later in the day saying they needed to do more testing and upped the diagnostics up to 585$ - I am trying to avoid spending a crap load of money on diagnostic fees - Has anyone else had a similar issue with their Genesis 2015 3.8 - If so, what was the fix/problem?

(It has recently gotten colder where i'm currently residing, but there hasn't been any snow or rain to cause the sensors to be dirty.. Also cleaned them off, so I am guessing that this may be an electronic issue or a possible steering sensor or wheel sensor.)

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

That sudden jump in diagnostic fee is a huge red flag. Tell them to stop and get your car back.

Those warning lights coming on together almost always point to a faulty forward-facing camera or radar sensor. The cold weather can cause these components to fail. Find a good independent shop that specializes in Korean cars or electronics. They can diagnose it for a fraction of the dealer's cost, often by just scanning for codes.
