  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is the 4th time I have had my car into the dealer for standing water in my backseat floorboard behind the drivers seat. There are no water stains in the roof lining, etc. Each time I have had it in after it gets wet, which is always after we have had some rain - I have taken it in right away. It is in the shop now - they have torn apart the interior and are getting ready to test AGAIN. They cannot find the source of the leak.

Very frstrated and just want to know if anyone else has had this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

check the rear door sound/weatherproofing seal. that was a common issue on old BMWs.

On my previously owned Cadillac CTS, they were notorious for the drains running from the sunroof tracks becoming clogged with debris.
Had to run fishing line down through it to make sure it drained onto the ground. Otherwise the water would find its way onto the
back floorboard.
Don't know if the Genesis has a similar design.

Could be drain in front of rear wheel well. I happen once year ago and leaves etc ha made their way to the drain and stopped it up. Sisnce then I have tried to keep leaves and pine needles cleaned out under trunk lid and under the hood. Hope they find the source.
