Hate to see beautiful cars destroyed like that...

But it's good to see that the choice to use all the extra high-strength steel has paid off. That A pillar doesn't budge, and while the driver door is slighly dislodged (hinges pushed back) it takes nearly zero damage ... compared to so many other cars that just crumple, A pillars collapse, doors fly off, etc., etc.

Good air bags (including knee bags for the driver).

Very encouraging. Note all the tiny pieces of crash debris. But why did they remove the headrests?

I compared the current insurance rates on my 2011 Genesis 4.6 to a 2015 Genesis AWD 3.8 Ultimate. With the same coverage there is a 19% reduction for the 2015.
