  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looking into parts for the new 2015 Genesis Sedan 5.0L I wanted to see if there were some informed forum members here.

I am looking to find out if the undercarriage is similar. Meaning would a 2014 Genesis Sedan Borla exhaust system fit the 2015, or it is completely changed. Can anyone clarify how many similarities there are between the 2?

One of the reviews I read or saw quite a while ago said there were virtually NO parts carried over into the new generation. I don't really know anything about the exhaust systems used but I'd think just the increase in wheelbase would mean that any exhaust system made for pre-2015 wouldn't fit.

The engine and transmission are substantially the same, but I agree that exhaust system is not likely to be an exact fit.
