  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know if 2015s will still be coming to dealers. My lease is up in December, and dealers are telling me that if I want a deal on a 2015, I'd better act now. Here in the NE, I'm finding most dealers with very few Genesis Sedans in stock. If I knew for sure that what they have is the end of the 2015s, I'd proceed faster!

No more allocations of the 2015 in the midwest. There are only 26 remaining in Kansas City.

Signatures are scarce in Weston. Don't think they will get more 15's.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

What are you looking for?

Thanks, I'd better get going....looking for a 3.8AWD Tech. I really want to get away from the black interior I've had so many times....love the gray or ivory with either black, montecido, or empire exterior. Had a good lease deal offer, but just not the right color combo, and as I said, not many to pick from.

If youre not opposed to low mile used 2015s, starting to see more and more become available

fyi 1yr depreciation on these cars is high....

I have a base 2015 v8 (= to tech pkg) with 4500 miles now, about 4 months old.

Depreciation takes about >30% hit on year 1, so someone re-selling year 1 is taking a large hit, even if upgrading to say an Equus or a new 2016.

I just sold back a 3 month old 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with 3600 miles on it (circumstances changed, and family did not need that car)....rather than futz with Craigslist with tire kickers and low ballers, went with the dealer repurchase for cash. On a $30K MSRP, got back $21K (had paid $24K w/ TTL)...and best Craigslist offers i was getting were less than $20K. At the same time, just for kicks, i asked the dealer repurchase dept to price my 2015 v8 Genesis, and they indicated about $36K (MSRP was $52,800; with TTL i had paid ~$45K).

The leasing residual is currently 56% after 36 months. Of course this is calculated based on MSRP,not the discounted price.
Anyway, the real figure is different: My G1 2012 had a residual of 24.7 K. Real life price - I guess - around 20-21.

Of course this can be used on our favor: buying used and extending warranty.

$36k on $45k is only 20% depreciation, not 30+%
