2015 Nav help

My wife posted our home for "our home" how do you delete this so I can change the address. I reviewed the manual and can't find any solution to edit this function.... HELP

Please elaborate do you mean you wife set your default “Home” setting and you now want to change it?

You do not want your house as your home address for security reasons (the remote will open the garage, etc). You want an address a block or 2 away. I am not sure how to change it.

Another a question I have is...how do you disable the manual address input without the predicting text of Streets. I mean it's annoying to type and address and as you are spelling the stree names the keyboard starts eliminating letters and making it impossible to type your address. Catch my drift?

I don't understand this. So if someone steals my car they are going to drive it to my house?

They are if you access the home function either by voice or manual selection. What many people do is set the address to a couple of blocks away or a close address from actual home location.

I don't know anyone that does that. I think it's a bit paranoid. Do you check your back seats before you get in? Check your closets at home before you sleep? Just a bit odd to me, I guess.

Better chance of dying from heart disease or being killed by a vending machine (which have better odds than dying by a shark attack).

Select NAV
Select DESTINATION
Select ADDRESS BOOK
Select FAVORITES (bottom left)
Select MENU
Select EDIT
Select HOME
Change the address information

Thats what i was thinking. I know its off topic but I never understood why I wouldnt set my home as home. Should I change my drivers license so nobody steals it?

Select NAV
Select DESTINATION
Select ADDRESS BOOK
Select FAVORITES (bottom left)
Select MENU
Select EDIT
Select HOME
Change the address information

Well I tried your instructions but I guess The Ultimate package if different from the touch screen system in the Signature package. I still unable to delete the old GO HOME address
ANYONE ELSE ?????

Well I went out in the rain and got in my car (Sig package) I hit the navi button, selected the address book, then selected favorites. That is where my home address is and shows as a house on the map, also dings when I get home. I could have deleted or edited it from there. So I suggest you try that. Took me all of 45 seconds so if that doesnt work I will stay out of your thread.

Found out why I could not make changes.... I did not realyze that you needed to scroll down to find "Address Book" all I saw was "Address"..........Nav manual does not discuss white scroll bar on right side screen usage :=(
