  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Finally got the Storm lowering springs installed from Kevin at KDMHolic. With nothing to go off of installation was nothing short than a PITA. The front springs were challenging due to the engineering of the suspension, the rears were not too bad other than having to drop the sway bar and remove the sensor for the automatic leveling headlights. I will post many more install pictures later, for now here are the results.

Ride quality is very good. Almost near stock with respect to comfort and smoothness. Handling is feels unchanged but I really haven't driven the car on any dynamic roads since wrapping up the install.

The drop was exactly as advertised and I am very pleased with the look of the car.

Looks great lowered and with the wheel/tire set up.

Any impact to the drive mode select, especially when thrown into 'sport'?

Looks great!

Nice drop. Makes it look more agressive.

you can purchase the springs by PMing KDMholic in the vendor section.

I just got a 15'. I have a question about the storm springs. Any issues with alignment after installation? Any issue with the electronic suspension/drive modes? Thanks in advance for your insight.
I sent a PM too. Not sure which or both will notify you.

Thanks again

I don't have a PM from you so you may want to check your sent items.

Anytime you lower a car you'll need to get it aligned just to be safe. My car is a 5.0 non ultimate so I didn't have to consider the adaptive suspension. You can look at my build thread for more info on the install.

Very nice setup! Looks great! Quick question, what are your wheel and tire specs?

looks good!!!

I have the same setup on my car.

Wheels are Velgen VMB5 front 20x9 et32, rear 20x10.5 et45

Tires Michelin PS4s front 255/35/20 rear 285/30/20

Is yours lowered as well? I thought I read in another thread (when I was stalking your car as I was shopping online for mine) that you kept the stock springs.

My '15 5.0 was lowered on GT-S then GT-F springs. The current one stays untouched. From that angle, it looks like the car is lowered, though.
