2015 Genesis Trunk Lid Brake Light Out but found a work around!

Since the right trunk lid brake light was not working but all other lights worked, I plugged in the left assembly into the right socket to confirm that it was not the LED light itself and the brake light didn’t work on that assembly either. So it must be the wiring harness somewhere. I traced...

Thank you so much for a prompt response. Unfortunately, I'm in California. I purchased a rear led lamp and I ordered a camera module to see if replacing them will fix the problem. Further diagnosis made me realize the problem was not the parts but more than likely a wire/harness issue. I have a very low confidence in Hyundai/Genesis dealers to be able to pin point and repair the issue without causing me further griefs. Thank you.
