Getting familiar with the group...
Hi everyone!
New to the forum. Picked up a 400 mile CPO 2015 White V8 (non-ultimate) two weeks ago at a great price. Thoroughly enjoying this car and reading the forum (have already picked up on so much valuable information here).
Here's what it looked like stock:
I got strangely lucky with new wheels. Without knowing that they would fit, a set of staggered rims from my previous car just happened to be almost identical in specs to the 5.0's stock 19's. So much so that I was able to swap the Continental tires off the stock wheels and throw them onto my old rims.
For anyone curious, the 5.0's stock rim specs are:
I also installed 3m Crystalline 40% all around and Johnson IR80 on the front. Here's a couple pictures after the install (notice that in some lights it throws off a brown/orange/purple color):
I wasn't originally planning to be to heavy handed on the mods, but it seems the bug might have struck. Up next I'm considering those rigid collars (ride is so bouncy). I'm also considering the Ark GT-F springs (based on Dareck and others' reviews), but I'm not sure as I don't want to compromise the ride or be worried about scraping. What do you guys think of the wheel gap though? It's identical to stock..
Thanks for the input!
