  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Charlie -

Been hearing more noise about the delay for the launch for the G80, but guess we won't really know unless Genesis confirms it.

The head of Genesis USA (Raphael) stated that US launch of the GV80 will be around May/June - so if the Korean launch is slated for Nov. - that means the US launch will still be 6-7 months after the KDM launch (as has been the norm), even tho Fitzgerald has stated that they want the overseas launches to be closer to the domestic launch.

Genesis Australia stated that their expected launch for the GV80 has been moved back (from late 2019 to 2020), so it does seem that the overseas launches have been delayed.

That rendering of the G80 looks off (in particular, the front where every thing looks too flat).

Think this 3-D modeling looks more accurate.

Another for the GV80.

Keep up the good work; been enjoying your videos.

FYI - the BH was not available w/ AWD.

I agree with those renders... I think they are very close to what will be revealed.

Yes, you are right about the BH w/ AWD. Sometime i say stupid things on live.

Thank you and thank you for the 3-D modelings and all. I will try to use them later. thank you.

Hey Charlie,
First off. You have one of the best channels on youtube for cars - I'm locked in to AsianPetrolHead for your Korean Automobile reviews because you are always the first to provide a detailed review.

I agree that the renders posted above are almost accurate though the rear of the render looks to hatchback (Audi a7), when in fact the car will have a traditional sedan trunk.

Hi there Charlie. Love following you on YouTube. So, we hear that the G80 will go on sale very shortly in S. Korea. Once you have access to vehicle brochures, and/or the Genesis Korea website, could you share some info here about available colors, wheel choices, vehicle configurations and/or option packages? Thank you!
