  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2021 Kia K5 vs 2021 G70

I notice in the pictures that the running lights are shown as amber in some shots and white in others. What's with that?

Doesn't bother me at all. I've had Acuras and Kias and other FWD's over the past few years, and they drive and handle fine. Most people could drive one and not be able to tell you which wheels are driven. But then, they're apparently going to have AWD available, too.
Disagree. But it is good for those people who don’t care about driving feel or dynamics

Lololol! A bit of misplaced RWD snobbery there? Or lack of experience, or maybe too much internet "knowledge" ...

The driver is the key, not which wheels are driven.

Again, disagree. You said: Most people could drive one and not be able to tell you which wheels are driven. I think my statement of saying that those people dont care about driving feel or dynamics would correctly apply to someone that does not drive their car hard enough to feel such things. Why spend extra money on a RWD car (usually sports/luxury cars) if you dont drive it in a way to notice? All Im saying is that these cars exist for a reason, for a type of driver.

Kia made some puzzling trim/option choices with the K5. You can't get AWD with either the EX or GT trims, and you can only get the premium audio (12 speaker Bose system) on the EX and GT trims. The Bose isn't even standard at those trim levels.

Need to see if the Stinger refresh adds the 2.5T to the GT-line, and if they increase the options available. Otherwise, a slightly-used 3.3 GT2 becomes a much better alternative with all the features included.

Yeah, looks like the stinger is getting the 2.5 in LHD markets. Probably won't be out until end of year. Your can still get a brand new 2018 for almost nothing.
