  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

20x10, all around

ride quality isn't bad at all... All my friends are shocked that it rides this smooth being this low and on coilovers.

I say you bite the bullet and order 2 test fit them on the front if they fit order the other two, if not then put them on the rear and order the next narrower size for the front lol.

thanks again Jake i think I'm going to fit my coupes rear wheels on the front when i get home and see what kind of clearance i have and go from there

Figured I'd post a couple pics of how weird a 10" wide would look in the front. I also remembered it wasn't the strut it was close to, it's that arm knuckle that comes up from the hub (part of the suspension).
So add 8 to 15mm to this (this was 38, so figure 23-30mm offset) to get clearance. It would probably clear everything with the 275's shown since there is some negative camber from the factor.

It would just look funny IMO.

looking at the pics posted, it didn't look so bad at all to me ...so then 20x10 will work with the right offset and tires..and possible camber...i was looking at using 245/35/20 which are close to stock in terms of tire rotations/sec and tire size...just in case, i used 1010tires.com to research the tire size comparison. So FrostCS, what offset was the wheels you had on the Gen?

anyone consider these? $119/each on sale.

20x10 40mm offset, 38lb a piece.

Any chance that might fit the front with a 245/255 tire?

275 or 295 in the back.

no comments or is everyone out buying them while I wait...

I looked at these in alloy finish when I had my 5-Series. They were too heavy @ 38 lbs. ea.

In this case, as close outs, that might also mean discontinued, so what happens if one of them fails. Good luck finding a replacement.

didn't quite answer the question posted, plus at this price you can always buy an extra.

But will it fit...

for those who want to go 20x11 in the rear Varrstoen ES1 now come in 20s....i got a quote from them for set 20x9 20x11 $1250 cash/carry $1450 shipped 48 states.

Good lord, 38 lbs each! No thanks

With 38 lb. wheels on the Genny (no matter how pretty they are), the Queen Mary would handle better. This is the very reason some people will pay close to a grand per wheel for a light weight forged wheel that will withstand either the track or a northeastern pothole and not bend or break.

Some people don't care about handling and therefore buy what looks good, not that I think that chrome monstrosity looks good, but honestly I don't care how my sedan handles, thats what my coupe is for.

you should try putting the stock rims on the scales. an 18" Acura rim from my RL was easily in the 30lb range.

non-chrome AV7's
