  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3t Sport Shortage?

WOW! Nice looking Genesis dealership. And as a few moments ago, they had 13 G70's in stock. Dealerships like this might put Genesis a place to shop versious combos with Hyundai.

Nice looking setup. It takes some buck to do that and I suspect we will see more, but not until the product line is complete and sales can support it.

Another aspect is price. Genesis has a big price advantage over the competition. As sales and respected reputation increase, my guess is the price difference will decrease. That can take another 5 to 10 years though.

They are a Hyundai/Genesis combo dealer. They are a top notch dealer, I think the biggest in Indiana. They have a walk thru tour you can do of the dealership.

Stay tuned. A dealer in IL that did decide to do Genesis changed their mind, and we're buying all their current and incoming inventory. Supposedly by the end of this month we're going to have close to 50 2019s in stock. Depending how many we sell by then.

Thanks. Our owner had a feeling that Genesis was going to separate when he started building back in 2014, so he built a huge dealership, with showrooms on opposite sides. Right now, Genesis says we are good to go past the 2021 cutoff for a separate facility. Since they are shooting for 100% concierge service, the separate service departments aren't necessary yet. If Genesis does come back and say we have to separate, he owns over 70 acres next to and behind this dealership to build a separate facility.

We were the #2 selling dealer in their Central Region last year. #1 in 2017. That tour was done a couple months after we opened in 2015, so it's kind of bare. Things have changed a lot since then.

Sounds like your owner had foresight and knows how to get satisfied customers while others are giving up. Good for him, that is the kind that will make the brand a success.
