Valvoline Maxlife in for 4800 miles. Prior oil in the engine was Castrol Edge gold bottle. 5W30 was my summer viscosity choice. Enjoy!

In all the posts of a Blackstone oil analysis reports on various forums, I have never seen a bad report. An oil analysis can tell you if you need to change the oil, and "may, or may not" provide a small amount of information about the current condition of the engine itself.
 
First oil analysis from Blackstone Labs on my 2011 FX4 5.0L. Truck was bought used in May 2013 from CarMax with about 34,700 miles and was bone stock. First oil change was at the end of June with 37,600 miles when I switched it over to Valvoline SynPower 5w20 with a MC oil filter.
