  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We bought a new 2009 3.6 with premium and tech package in May. After 5000 miles I still think this is a fantastic car for the money. It does not handle low speed bumps as well as the LS 400 we drove for 12 years but the stiffer suspension sure does make it handle well. Wife says I drive too fast. I am 6'4" tall and it is the most comfortable car I test drove. Looked at M35, IS350 ,ES 350 and 328 BMW. M35 was a good fit but not worth 20K more than the Genesis. Taking a trip to Florida soon and will pack the Escort Redline for sure.
Oh yeah. 17 speaker Lexicon and Bonnie Rait give me chills.:cool:

Welcome! Nice to see real-world comparisons to other vehicles.

I'm not at 5k yet just 2000 miles and had some trouble the first 4 days in a row I went back to the dealer and said I WANT A REFUND or another car same color ....it keep going to the right they said they fixed it and it was not fixed. Told me wait a few days and asked hyundai what to try ...well they changed some sensors and the car is just great drives like a rocket and straight ...I MUST ADD THAT I HAVE OWNED BMW PORSCHE & BENZ AND NEVER WAS TREATED WITH A SERVICE DEPT.LIKE THE ONE IN BKLYN BAY RIDGE --THEY ARE THE BEST I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A TEAM OF PEOPLE THAT ARE SO NICE ....AND TRY SO HARD TO PLEASE -----I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I BOUGHT THE GENESIS BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE DEPT AT MY DEALER -----HATS OFF TO THEM !!!!!

It's good to hear this - I also have a terrific dealer (Ourisman in Laurel, MD). There have been several posts here about dealers who are not so great, unfortunately.
