Oh yeah...given the cost of the extended warranty, its definitely worth getting if you plan on keeping the car for more than three years if you get the Tech Package with the Genesis.
Normally, I wouldn't recommend extended warrantly plans, but if one gets an auto loaded w/ tech goodies (not to mention an audiphile grade sound system), then yeah, it's not a bad idea (assuming one doesn't overpay for it).
Yeah, eventually all the geezers who remember the initial Hyundai launch in the US will just die off. Maybe even Yugo can make a return to the US some day?
I'm sure there are some old geezers who think Toyotas are still cheap Japanese "tin cans."
What's impt. are the next gen of auto buyers and the kids these days are going to have a much diff. impression of Hyundai.
For those who are older and wouldn't have bought a Hyundai even 3-4 years ago, it has to do w/ doing your due diligence.
It's kinda like buying property in an "up and coming"/gentrifying neighborhood or purchasing clothing from a designer that isn't yet well known - it's being ahead of the masses (being a "leader" and not a follower).
