Having only purchased my Genesis two weeks, and because the weather here in Florida has been much colder than is normal for Florida, I never gave the A/C a real workout. Sure, I've have it set to Auto, but that is not a real test.
Well, today the temperature got up over 80F and I had the car parked in the sun, so when I got in, the interior was hot. Started up and drove away, and the air from the vents was coming out at about 42F. (I have a thermometer placed in the left/center vent) Cooled down the interior fast. Also noticed a lot of condensation water drains from car into my garage floor. More than either my Continental or my previous car. My wife was worried about all the water, even though I told her it is just A/C condensation, because she never saw so much, but I told her it just proves that the system is working correct.
Also, decided to try the Cooled Seat. It also works great. Matter of fact, it "froze" my back, and the seat bottom also got very cold. Very happy to see that this works. Don't see anything in the owners manual about filters under the seat as my previous car had.
Hope everything works great when the temperatures/humidities in Florida are up around 95/95 or in New Mexico at 110/10.
