I just got a 100 dollar gift card for my 2019 G70 lease I got in December. Anyone else get this gift? Did anyone get a dot? I didn't grt a dot. I got the base 2.0T AWD.

I think the DOTs were given out when Genesis launched the Alexa app so you could remote start your car via the DOT, kind of to bring it to the attention of new owners. now it is kind of passé. I much rather would have preferred the $100 gift card, DOTS were only $30 back when they were rolling them out, and I already had 3, didn't need another.

Genesis Connected Services screwed some things up so they were gonna cut me a $30 dollar check and I'm hoping this is unrelated (which is why I'm super curious if any other 2019 people got the $100 GC or if it was just me.)

Hyundai has been doing this for a long time, depending on the model you buy $25, $50, $100 gift cards. I have seen posts on Hyundai forums going back to 2009 about it.

Sometimes they give other things, like the DOT, a few years back my neighbor got a cell phone charging pack (portable battery) when she got a Sonata.

Lexus, BMW, MBZ, and some others do it as well. With my Lexus RCF I got a nice gift pack that contained a portable cell phone battery, Bluetooth Speaker, several nice microfiber phone screen cleaning wipes, various cables to plug into the USB on the car, micro, mini, lightning, etc, and a neat little canvas pouch for all of it. all with the Lexus "F" logo on it.

All I got from my Feb 2018 purchase of a 2018 G80 was a car payment.

Bought my 18 Sport in January of 19. I didn't get an owners manual but that is on line so it is on my computer now. Mine was executive driven don't know if that will make a difference. But this is my first Genesis. Not holding my breath but like others, I like to get gifts. Got a wooden box with belt buckle, decals, patches etc... from Indian when I bought my motorcycle. I'll never use any of it but it is on display with other Indian stuff.

I don't think the car was pre-titled, it was executive driven buy the GM with less than 3500 miles and my documentation as well as the on line Genesis Owners App says I received the full warranty of 5y/60K and 10y/100K drive train as well as 35 months free maintenance. (I did lose a month on the maintenance contract.)

I would talk to the dealer then. You should get everything a new car owner is entitled too, FWIW it took 3 months for me to receive my DOT, others got them in a few weeks. I think even one member here posted it took 6 months..

My wife went to "our" dealer for an oil change and brought back home this reversible cargo tray for my G80 sport - courtesy of my salesperson Goran.

Yes, I have only owned the car for 4 weeks. The post above got me thinking though. My sales person asked if I wouldn't mind bringing in my car for the first service he said he wanted to go over any questions I might have on the operation as he couldn't go over everything when I picked it up. And this is not something that I am worried about. If I get something it will be nice and I will report it. If not oh well.

Lazy Dealership, it is their responsibility to set it up with Genesis HQ, likely a memo was issued on what and how to do it, and the dealership or salesman failed to follow the procedure.

We got the Echo Dot in December. Then last week they sent us the $100 Mastercard gift card. Nice. Also, our dealer sent us a $100 gift card good for use at their dealership, so I used some of it to buy a Genesis license plate frame. They also sent a wooden box with a set of fancy metal insulated beverage cups.
