  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I noticed that the LED White Strip is only on when I turn the headlights on, is there a way to have it as an actual "Daytime Running Light" along with the actual DTL or will it hurt to keep my lights on through out the day whenever I drive and then turn it off when not driving?

I love having it on all the time as it brings such a big difference in the front.

I got the 2012 Genesis two days ago so I'm still learning all the features.

I posed (sort of) the same question at this thread: link

I think more people will be interested in the answer once more 2012s get out on the road...

Hmm maybe the dealership might know how to do it, when I get my wings sent in the mail and get my car re-badged I'll ask them about it. I wouldn't think it was hard to do, maybe they can even switch the light to a brighter white led which can be seen more during the daytime instead of just night.
